The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: demonstrating the facial recognition capabilities in the WAKI application.
Depending on the User's specific device, this Application may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below.
By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document. The revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Application. If User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e accessed to, modified or removed) by this Application.
Camera permission: Used for accessing the camera or capturing images and video from the device.
Personal Data is only used for demonstrating the facial recognition capabilities in the WAKI application and it is not stored nor distributed outside of the application.
Legal action: The User's Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Data Controller, in Court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of this Application or the related services. The User declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be required to reveal personal data upon request of public authorities.
Additional information about User's Personal Data: In addition to the information contained in this privacy policy, this Application may provide the User with additional and contextual information concerning particular services or the collection and processing of Personal Data upon request.
System logs and maintenance: For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System logs) or use for this purpose other Personal Data (such as IP Address).

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the use of images (the "Images") for face recognition purposes provided by WAKI ("Company").
Company grants to the user ("User") a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Images solely for the purpose of face recognition.
The Images are owned by Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Company.
Company will encrypt the Images and implement reasonable security measures to protect the Images from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
User may not use the Images for any purpose other than face recognition. User may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the Images to any third party. User may not use the Images in any way that could be considered defamatory, obscene, or illegal.
Company warrants that it has the right to grant the license granted herein. Company makes no other warranties, express or implied, regarding the Images, including without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall Company be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Images.
User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Company, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with User's use of the Images.
Company may terminate this license at any time upon any breach of the terms and conditions of this license by User. Upon termination, User must immediately cease using the Images and destroy all copies of the Images.
This license will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the Company is headquartered. All disputes relating to or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the competent jurisdiction of that country.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
